I have been honoured to serve the people of Abbey ward since my first election in 2007.

Over my years of service, I have dealt with casework ranging from simple parking issues, benefit issues, housing issues and Biffa which has so far been the longest going piece of casework.

In the last 11 years I have been a local voice for local people. While I have set surgeries the residents of Abbey have known for the last 11 years that I’m always around to hear and take up their issues and hopefully resolve them. If selected again I will continue to be the voice of the residents of Abbey Ward and stand up for the local services the people of Abbey and Leicester need.

Over the last few years I’ve been a trustee of St Margaret’s Charity and have been involved in running community parties for children and OAPs.

Since 2016 I’ve been Vice Chair Abbey BLP and a member of Leicester West CLP General Committee and I’ve done phone banking and leafleting.
