I have been a member of the Labour Party since the 1980s and have campaigned in many elections for a Labour Victory both locally and nationally.

I have been involved in many local and national campaigns fighting for services and for those who are often most vulnerable in society.

I am currently a trade union officer representing trade union members on all types of disciplinary matters and have experience of managing complex cases that involve many different agencies.

Currently I am Western Branch membership secretary, Leicester West CMC Trade Union Liaison officer and also delegate from the constituency to the Local Campaign Forum.

I am a strong supporter of the current leadership of the Labour Party and believe that we can build on our 2017 election manifesto to ensure a future Labour government committed to the changes we require.

I am committed to developing a council housing strategy that meets the needs of the city and also connecting more with the estates on the edge of the city that do not always feel that we are supporting their needs.

If I am chosen to represent a ward I promise to never do less than my best for the area and the city.
