Face to face meetings and election campaigning have been reinstated. Meetings are currently being held on Zoom and we are exploring having hybrid face to face and online meetings – for more information, please contact the CLP Secretary.

The Constituency Management Committee (CMC) is the group that manages the admin and business of the constituency party, consisting of elected officers and two delegates from each branch.

The General Committee (GC) discusses politics and decides on policy. It consists of the constituency exec and a large number of delegates from branches. Branch secretaries are automatically members of the GC. The MP presents a report to each GC.

There are also regular meetings of Women’s Forum, organised by the Women’s Officer, and Disability Forum, organised by the Disability Officer.

The CLP also sends delegates to Leicester’s Local Government Committee.
